The Assassination of John F. Kennedy had the most impact on America. His assassination had the most impact because he was a very loved and well known president. People covered blocks and blocks just to see his face. He was loved and his death was terrible.

I dont like the fact that we used the atomic bombs and killed people. We killed many men, women, and children. What if they wanted peace just like us? We killed so many people. I understand we needed to do it but I wish we could have found a better way.
Works Progress AdministrationThe New Deal Program that made the biggest impact was the Works Progress Administration or WPA. The WPA began in 1935. The built schools, hospitals, and hired artists and photographers to make them pretty.
If I were to pretend I was living in the 1920s, I would most likely go and meet Langston Hughes. I would go and meet Langston Hughes because he was a Leader of the Harlem Renaissance. Langston is also my favorite poet so it would be cool meeting him. He showed a lot of African Americans that they can be successful at the arts like other people were. Langston Hughes is a great man and poet and I would do anything to go and meet him.
I think that Alaska was the most important for the U.S. to acquire. It was the most important because it expanded our borders and makes up 1/5 of the U.S. Alaska is good for farming and gave us natural resources like oil and gold.
If I lived in the 1800s, I would be thankful for the muckraker, Thomas Nast. I would be thankful for him because he exposed Boss Tweed. Boss Tweed had taken over 3 billion dollars from N.Y. I wouldn't have lived there, but It would be a relief that people like him can and will be punished.
Transcontinental Railroad I feel like the transcontinental railroad had the biggest impact on the West. It allowed people to transport goods and supplies to the West and East. The railroad gave jobs to lots of people. Lastly the Transcontinental Railroad allowed people to communicate easily.
Railroad BuildersThe people who built the international railroad had a big impact on the west. They allowed trade between the East and West. It also gave lots of companies close proximity to the railroad, letting them transport their goods.
The Freedman's Bureau had the biggest impact on the south during the reconstruction era. The Freedman's Bureau is a group that was created during the reconstruction of the South. They wanted to give education, jobs, and health care to the poor and freedmen. They opened 1,000s of schools in the south.
